Fundraise at work

We work together with companies to deliver mutually beneficial partnerships. Every pound you raise is directly spent supporting patients.

How you can support us

Your money will help us to buy the latest medical equipment, fund life-saving research and provide patients and their families with support during their time in hospital.

Supporting Guy’s and St Thomas’ at Christmas

Our corporate partners play a key role in making Christmas a special and memorable time for our patients and their families, and of course our amazing staff. Although this year will of course be very different, the support we receive from our corporate partners will still have a huge impact on our patients in hospital over the festive period. We hope your company will consider supporting our hospitals during what continues to be an incredibly challenging time.

We are currently working closely with the hospital to establish what is possible this year and most importantly, what is safe and needed by our hospitals. In previous years we have accepted gift in kind donations, including toys for the children, and permitted hospital visits by supporters to entertain and volunteer with the children. Sadly, due to the coronavirus pandemic, these activities may not be possible this year but please keep an eye on this section for regular updates or email info@supportgstt.org.uk to find out more.

Employee engagement

Fundraising at work is a simple and effective way to make a difference. There are many ways to do it – here are some popular activities for inspiration.

Events

We offer an extensive calendar of events to suit all activity levels, from skydives, cycle rides, trek challenges, family walks to runs, and of course our annual carols service. There is something for everyone.

Cause-related marketing

Cause-related marketing (CRM) is a commercial activity where your business and Guy's and St Thomas' form a partnership to market an image, product or service for mutual benefit. It is a simple and effective way of differentiating your product, and of increasing sales and customer loyalty.

Payroll giving

Payroll giving is a simple, tax-effective way for an employee to give directly from their paycheque. Setting up and running a scheme is quick and easy, and successful schemes are recognised by the coveted Payroll Giving Quality Mark Awards.

We’ve been lucky enough to work with some fantastic partners over the years.

CISCO devised the action-packed Cisco Wilderness Challenge across Finnish Lapland last year, raising £70,000 for genetic triple-negative breast cancer research. An awesome team effort! This year the Cisco Wilderness Challenge will be taking place in Canada. We wish them lots of luck and look forward to hearing all about their adventures in the wilderness.

Barclays CCM Division (community charity) raised over £100,000 for our pioneering translational oncology and urological research (TOUR) team to support their bid to become a world-leading bladder cancer research centre.

Hogg Robinson is supporting an international cancer research fellowship for the next three years to help increase the international collaboration between Guys and St Thomas’, the Harvard Medical School, (Cambridge MA.) and the TATA Memorial Cancer team (Kolkata). They will be supporting us with £75,000 over the next three years.
