We have been closely monitoring the evolving situation in the UK regarding the outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). For us, the health and safety of our supporters and their families is our utmost priority.

As a result, we’ve come to the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Walk50 which was due to take place on 27-28 June 2020.

This may be cause for disappointment and we are sorry. However, the safeguarding and wellbeing of our fundraising family must take precedence. We will ensure all participants receive a full refund.

We will work towards hosting Walk50 in 2021, which we hope will be a big success.

We are incredibly grateful for your support and patience.

In the meantime, please take extra care in looking after yourself and please don’t hesitate to contact the Events Team at events@supportgstt.org.uk if you have any questions or concerns.

How are we supporting our hospitals during this difficult time?

As one of a very few High Consequence Infectious Disease (HCID) Treatment Centre‘s in the UK, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust is at the forefront of the COVID-19 outbreak. Our fantastic doctors and nurses, as well as all the wonderful staff across our hospitals, are working around the clock to care for those affected by the pandemic.

We have therefore launched a Guy's and St Thomas' engagement and fundraising campaign to support the well-being of our staff, patients and their families. If you'd like to find out how you can support, please see our home page.
