There’s never been a better excuse for a brew.

The NHS Big Tea is about so much more than sharing a cuppa. It’s a national outpouring of love, thanks, and generosity for the people at the heart of our NHS, the people who go above and beyond to care for us.

By hosting a tea party at home or at work, you will be raising vital funds that will help provide much-needed mental and physical wellbeing support for the incredible staff at Guy’s and St Thomas’.

How to take part

Just like the perfect brew, taking part is simple and powerful. Your tea party could help give the hardworking staff of Guy’s and St Thomas’ the support they urgently need.

It’s free to register, and every £1 you raise will go towards supporting patient and staff care – including dedicated wellbeing zones and psychological support for NHS staff who have worked tirelessly, under immense stress, to tackle the coronavirus pandemic.

Start off by deciding how you will host your Big Tea party. Will it be at home, at your work or school, or could it even be over Zoom?

Then, take a look at our amazing free Big Tea pack that contains everything you need to host the perfect tea, including:

  • print at home bunting and posters
  • sponsorship forms
  • invitations
  • cake recipes
  • game ideas.

Once you’ve decided how you’d like to host your tea and downloaded your Big Tea pack, you can then set up a JustGiving page to help you fundraise.
