We have been closely monitoring the evolving situation in the UK regarding the outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and Government guidelines. For us, the health and safety of our supporters and their families is of the utmost priority.

As a result, we’ve come to the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Guy’s Urban Challenge which was due to take place on Saturday 26 September 2020.

This may be cause for disappointment and we are sorry. However, the safeguarding and wellbeing of our fundraising family must take precedence.

We will work towards hosting Guy’s Urban Challenge in 2021, which we hope will be a big success.

In the meantime, if you’d like to do your own fundraising, or even take on the Guy’s Urban Challenge at home, please check out our Do Your Own Thing page to see how you can get involved!

We are incredibly grateful for your support and patience.

How are we supporting our hospitals during this difficult time?

There has never been a challenge for staff at Guy’s and St Thomas’ like working through the coronavirus pandemic. As the pandemic continues, supporting our staff is crucial.

Thanks to our coronavirus appeal, the hospitals have been able to set up wellbeing zones where staff can recuperate away from the pressure of the wards.

Find out how these wellbeing zones have made a difference.
