Making a donation in memory of a loved one can be a generous way to honour them. Your gift could help fund life-saving equipment, life-changing research and help us buy all those extras that make Guy’s and St Thomas’ such an amazing place.  Things like a free Medicinema for patients to take their mind off being in hospital, or pioneering research that enables us to detect skin cancer in seconds.

John was diagnosed with an incredibly rare form of skin cancer called mycosis fungoides. He sadly lost his ballet to the disease in 2014, aged just 64. Since his death, his wife Jane has found some strength in raising money for Guy’s and St Thomas’, where John was treated, not only giving back for the care they received but also helping to raise awareness of the disease which affects just one in a million.

"It meant so much to me to be able to support research into his disease in his memory".
