Become a Charity Champion

Are you a staff member at Guy's, St Thomas' or Guy's Cancer? If so, your hospital needs you.

Our vision

Everyone at Guy’s and St Thomas’ can help to spread the word about Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity.

As a Charity Champion, you can help to promote the work of the charity, encourage more people to get involved and help bring to life the brilliant ideas from across the Trust on how to improve patient care and develop and look after our staff.

What will the role involve?

There are lots of ways you can help, depending on what you’re interested in and how much time you have. Here are just some of the ways you can get involved:

  • Be the go-to charity representative in your team, signposting to information such as how to deal with donations, and access funds.
  • Help promote the amazing work being done at the Trust by finding case studies or quotes of where Charity funding has made a difference.
  • Assist with onsite events such as hospital tours for donors, spread the word about fundraising events or help at information stalls to promote the Charity.
  • Raise awareness of how to access funding and Charity-funded projects.

Email for more information. You need to be a Guy's and St Thomas' Trust staff member to join the programme.

Once you sign up you will receive monthly email with opportunities and will be invited to join our Facebook Group – it’s a great way to get to know the other Charity Champions and to share inspiring stories.
