Cancer Survivors' Day - Celebration Walk 2018
As part of Cancer Survivors' Day we will be holding a fundraising walk to celebrate survivorship or honour loved ones.
Date: Sunday 24 June 2018, 11am
Location: Guy’s Hospital, London
Registration Fee: from £12
Sponsorship target: £100
This picturesque walk will take in some of London's top sights and landmarks and will raise money for exceptional cancer care and research.
Choose from 3.5km (fully accessible route), 6km or 11km walks along the Thames to raise money for Guy's Cancer.
As the walk starts at 11am, you'll be able to enjoy all of the celebrations at the main Survivors' Day event after you finish.
Registration is from £12, and we ask that participants fundraise at least £100, as the money will help go towards funding innovative cancer treatment and research that transforms patients' lives… not just now, but in the future.
Cancer is devastating and affects many of us personally or through our loved ones.
It's heart-breaking when we lose a loved one to cancer, but we are filled with hope when someone gets the all clear and becomes free of cancer. We have to build on this hope to ensure more people survive cancer.
That's why we need help to raise funds for Guy's Cancer to transform people's experience of dealing with cancer and improve their chances of beating it.
