Giving in memory

Giving in memory

Making a donation in memory of a loved one can be a generous way to honour them.

Your gift could go towards buying life-saving equipment and funding research, and help us buy all those extras that make Guy's and St Thomas' such an amazing place, like a free medicinema for patients to take their mind off being in hospital, or pioneering research that enables us to detect skin cancer in seconds.

If you’d like to make a gift to Guy's and St Thomas' in memory, you could ask friends and family to send a donation instead of floral tributes. We can also provide collection envelopes if you would like to collect money at a funeral or a memorial service.

Or you can create an online tribute page which provides a place to record messages of sympathy and memories of your loved one.

What is an online tribute fund?

A tribute fund allows you to fundraise online for a loved one. It could become a place for family, friends and co-workers to leave messages of sympathy and share their memories. It's a lasting way to remember someone whilst making a huge difference to our hospitals.

How do I set one up?

The tribute fund is created by you and is very easy to set up. By setting up a tribute fund you can also add memories, photos and music which are special to your loved one.
If you are also thinking about doing a challenge or event in memory of your loved one you can link them to your online tribute fund.
